Environmental Technician
Applicants for the Environmental Technician position
should have a minimum of an Associates degree in the field of
natural resources, agriculture, construction science or other
similar discipline that would apply to erosion and sedimentation
control issues; or equivalent experience. The position will mostly
include fieldwork in our sediment and erosion control monitoring
program, including field inspection of Best Management Practices
and monitoring of construction site activities. Other duties may
include collecting field data using a backpack GPS unit and assisting
in wetland delineations and hydrology monitoring. The preferred
applicant should be willing to travel and have good verbal and
written communication skills.
