MITIGATION
BANKS Acer Environmental, Inc.
has successfully designed, permitted, and constructed a variety
of wetland and stream mitigation banks throughout Georgia. These
include both commercial mitigation banks for private landowners,
as well as private user banks for public corporations and local
municipalities. In addition to site-specific mitigation banks,
we have also successfully permitted comprehensive statewide and
watershed based umbrella mitigation banks for our clients. Acer
is capable of handling all aspects of mitigation banking, from
initial bank siting and feasibility studies to final marketing

Georgia
Power Bundt Tract Mitigation Bank
Heard County, Georgia
The Bundt Tract Mitigation
Bank is located in Heard County, Georgia and is a private
user bank owned and operated by Georgia Power Company. Acer
successfully designed and permitted the Bundt Tract for Georgia
Power Company through the Georgia Mitigation Banking Review
Team (MBRT). The Bundt Tract provides both wetland and stream
mitigation credits for Georgia Power Company project impacts
within the Chattahoochee River drainage basin.

Wilkinson-Oconee Mitigation Bank
Wilkinson County, Georgia
The Wilkinson-Oconee Mitigation Bank is located
in Wilkinson County, Georgia within the Oconee River drainage
basin. The bank is a commercial mitigation bank owned by Wilkinson-Oconee,
LLC and is comprised of 6,735 acres of restored, enhanced,
and preserved bottomland hardwood, cypress-tupelo, and emergent
herbaceous wetland systems, as well as over 25 miles of restored
and preserved streams and riparian buffer corridors. Acer
successfully designed and permitted the Wilkinson-Oconee Mitigation
Bank and is currently in its first year of operation.

Yellow Creek Mitigation Bank
Cherokee and Forsyth Counties, Georgia
The Yellow Creek Mitigation Bank is located
in Cherokee and Forsyth Counties, Georgia within the Etowah
River drainage basin. The bank is a commercial mitigation
bank owned and operated by Yellow Creek, LLC and is comprised
of over 2 miles of stream and riparian buffer restoration
along the Etowah River. The Yellow Creek Mitigation Bank was
approved in August of 2003 and is currently in its second
year of operation.

Musket Bay Mitigation Bank
Ware County, Georgia
The Musket Bay Mitigation Bank is located in Ware County, Georgia within the Satilla River drainage basin. The bank is a commercial wetland and stream mitigation bank owned by Flint Timber II, L.P. and is comprised of 1,300 acres of potentially restored and enhanced coastal plain bottomland hardwood, cypress-tupelo, and wet hardwood and pine flat wetland systems.
