The Bundt Tract provides both wetland and stream mitigation credits for Georgia Power Company project impacts within the Chattahoochee River drainage basin. The Bundt Tract is approximately 140 acres of restored, enhanced, and preserved bottomland hardwood wetlands, as well as over 2 miles of restored and preserved streams and riparian buffers. Mitigation construction and planting was completed in 2002 and 2003 and the bank was approved in February of 2004. The bank is currently in its second year of operation.
